Pathways Center for Cancer Support
New South-Shore Center Opens in Hanover, Massachusetts
Hanover, MA – July 12, 2007 – The Wellness Community-Greater Boston (TWC), a non-profit organization providing free cancer
support and education services for people with cancer and their loved ones, today announced that Kathleen Armany has joined
the organization’s management team as its Program Director of its Pathways Center for Cancer Support facility located
in Hanover, MA.
Ms. Armany’s credentials include board certification with the American Holistic Nurse
Association and certification with the Center for Mind Body Medicine as a Cancer Guide. She is also skilled
in group facilitation, program management, leadership and team building.
“As a
cancer survivor, Kathleen is keenly aware of the impact a cancer diagnosis has on individuals, families and caregivers.
She enjoys an extensive career in multiple aspects of the healthcare environment. We are pleased
to welcome Kathleen to our staff”, said Harriet Berman PhD, VP of Clinical Programs.
Every Wednesday in July and August, beginning July 11th, The Wellness Community at Pathways Center
for Cancer Support will be hosting an open house from 2-5pm. The public is welcome to attend these open
houses at 273 Hanover St, Hanover MA; telephone: (781-829-4823) to learn more about TWC’s free community programs for
people affected by cancer, their loved ones and caregivers.
