13^th Annual Fore! A Good Cause Golf Tournament

Newton, MA – March 26, 2007 - The Wellness Community–Greater Boston (TWC) a non-profit organization providing a free program of cancer support, education and hope today announced that the 13^th Annual “Fore! A Good Cause” Golf Tournament will be held at Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, MA on Monday, June 18, 2007.

The proceeds from “Fore! A Good Cause” provide essential resources to meet the growing demand for The Wellness Community services. The event will begin with a shotgun start; and include a cocktail hour, dinner, silent auction, Hole In One contest with an opportunity to win a Lexus Hybrid SUV; and a raffle for a twosome to participate in the 2007 Lexus Champions for Charity National Championship at Pebble Beach.

 “For the past 13 years our golf tournament has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help individuals and families affected by cancer,” noted Ron Lipof, president and CEO of TWC. “We are looking forward to making the 2007 tournament the most successful ever.”

The Wellness Community is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help people with cancer and their loved ones by providing a professional program of support, education and hope. Located in Newton and at Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury, all programs and support services are free of charge.
