Jodi Silton Joins The Wellness Community-Greater Boston as Director of Community Relations
Newton, MA – February 19, 2007 - The Wellness
Community–Greater Boston (TWC) a non-profit organization providing cancer support, education and hope, today announced that Jodi Silton
has joined the senior management team as director of community relations.
In her new role, Ms. Silton will be responsible for
initiating and maintaining strategic relationships between TWC and the businesses and organizations in the Greater Boston
area. Her efforts will serve to enhance the visibility and awareness of TWC and its professional programs and services.

are so pleased that Jodi has joined our team,” said Ronald Lipof, President and CEO of TWC. “Her more than 20
years of successful experience in community education, program development, community building and fundraising will help bring
more attention to TWC and our efforts to help people affected by cancer.”
Ms. Silton has a Bachelor of Science
degree in Community Health Education from Northeastern University and a Master of Science degree in Health Care Administration
from Simmons College.
The Wellness Community is a non-profit organization whose mission
is to help people with cancer and their loved ones by providing a professional program of support, education and hope. Located
in Newton and at Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury, all programs and support services are free of charge.
