The Wellness Community to Participate in
the Shopping Benefit at Bloomingdales

Newton, MA – February 5, 2007 – The Wellness Community–Greater Boston (TWC) a non-profit organization providing cancer support, education and hope today announced its participation in the Bloomingdale’s “Shopping Benefit,” being held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at Bloomingdale’s Chestnut Hill Fashion & Home/Men’s store. Proceeds from this event, which takes place from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M., will go towards TWC’s professional programs that assist people affected by cancer.

Guests who purchase a $10 ticket from TWC will enjoy 15% or 20% storewide savings on regularly priced and sale merchandise (certain restrictions apply) and 100% of the ticket price will benefit TWC. “The Shopping Benefit” will feature live entertainment, discounts and fashion events. Tickets may be purchased in advance from TWC by calling 617-332-1919.

The Wellness Community is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help people with cancer and their loved ones by providing a professional program of support, education and hope. Located in Newton and at Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury, all programs and support services are free of charge.
