Cancer Garden of Hope On
Boston's City Hall Plaza
In partnership with Mayor Menino and the City of Boston, The
Wellness Community Cancer Garden of Hope is a tribute to be unveiled on City Hall Plaza. This first of its kind tribute will include approximately
4,000 commemorative bricks as well as a series of trees and park benches that will include commemorative plaques to honor
all those invloved in the cancer journey - survivors, family members, friends, colleagues, medical professionals, caregivers,
and to remember loved ones.
The Garden is the largest of its kind in the country and will raise vital funds to support the free cancer support, education
and stress management programs offered to people living with cancer and their loved ones and caregivers throughout Greater
Boston.
To purchase a commemorative brick in memory of someone, or to honor someone living with cancer or a special
caregiver, simply click HERE or call The Wellness Community at (617) 332-1919.
Today, a cancer
diagnosis is no longer a death sentence but rather a journey for most diagnosed with the disease. The Cancer Garden
of Hope will serve as a tribute to those living with cancer and the unsung heroes that help navigate that journey.
