14th Annual Fore! A Good Cause Golf Tournament
Newton, MA – March 10, 2008 - The Wellness Community–Greater
Boston (TWC) a non-profit organization providing a free program of cancer support, education and hope today announced that
Spring Valley Country Club in Sharon, MA will host the organization’s 14th Annual “Fore! A Good Cause”
Golf Tournament on Monday, June 30, 2008.
The proceeds from the tournament provide essential resources to meet the growing demand for The Wellness Community’s
cancer support, education and stress management services. The event will include a continental breakfast, silent auction,
Hole In One contest with an opportunity to win a Lexus Hybrid SUV; and a raffle for a twosome to participate in the
2008 Lexus Champions for Charity National Championship at Pebble Beach.
“For the past 14 years our golf tournament has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars
to help individuals and families affected by cancer,” noted Ron Lipof, President and CEO of TWC. “We are honored
to be a Lexus Champions for Charity event and we look forward to another exciting and successful tournament.”
