2008 Gilda Radner Awards Dinner Honorees
Newton, MA –
March 5, 2008 – The Wellness Community–Greater Boston (TWC) a non-profit organization providing free support and education services for people with cancer and their loved ones,
today announced its 2008 Gilda Radner Awards Dinner
Honorees. Honorees include Marcy and Bruce Balter, Hilary and Richard Glovsky and Kelley Tuthill and Brendan
Ward. The awards dinner will be held May 16, 2008 at the Westin Boston Waterfront.
Hilary Glovsky and Kelley Tuthill will receive The Gilda Radner Award, named
after the comic actress Gilda Radner, who inspired the founding of TWC–Greater Boston. The award honors individuals
like Gilda who demonstrate courage, determination and hope in the face of a cancer diagnosis and provide inspiration to others.
Marcy & Bruce Balter, Richard Glovsky
and Brendan Ward will receive The Spirit of Wellness Award honoring individuals who have made outstanding contributions to
the lives of people affected by cancer.
“We are truly excited to recognize these inspirational individuals for all they are doing to raise awareness and offer
support and hope to those living with cancer,” said Ronald Lipof, President and CEO of TWC.
